2) How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

Article published by our studio:

The 2 minute film opening of, "Morning Run", engages with audiences through the mainstream horror conventions. The audience sees this through the many different camera angles used and the wide array of story changes like the sudden chase scenes and the stalker being thrown into the water.

Stalker thrown in water

The film is almost all silent for dialogue, besides the end scene where they are not sure what do after they throw the stalker into the water. This scene is all the 2 minute opening needs for engaging with the audience effectively enough to give them all of the context they need.

The only main dialogue scene

It will be distributed at an upcoming film festival our school is hosting. The film festival will show our film in all of it's glory and would attract some much needed feedback. However, besides this film festival, the opening can be found on YouTube which will be the main distribution method. Our main YouTube viewing link will be attached below.
